How subscription consent works
- Every box on our sign-up form starts unticked. You choose briefings, blog posts, SHROA updates, or any mix.
- We send a single confirmation email. Nothing else is sent until you click the link in it (double opt-in).
- We record what you agreed to, the version of the wording and the time, so we can show your consent was freely given.
- Every email contains a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe or delete your data here.
Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your data. We use a small number of service providers (processors), such as our website host and email delivery service, under written contracts that require them to protect your data and use it only on our instructions. Your data is stored in the UK or EEA. If a provider ever processes data outside the UK, we will use a UK adequacy decision or the ICO’s International Data Transfer Agreement.
Cookies and tracking
This website uses no advertising or analytics cookies and our emails contain no tracking pixels. Only strictly necessary technical storage is used, so no cookie banner is required.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Email info@supportedhousingpeople.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
